I can ride a bike again!

So while Scripting News isn't really all that relevant to my life ( or probably even yours either) I actually made a quick, and brief, trip over to the site to see if it was even active anymore. So while this isn't a link to something new or novel (or even interesting depending on your impression of Dave and his antics) it did get me thinking about the sites and news sources that I used to visit on a daily basis and how my reading habits have evolved to such an extent over the past few years that even must read sites aren't even in my bookmarks anymore.

The other day, I was at Long John Silvers and there was a sign promoting crabcakes that has "REAL LOBSTER" in them. I asked the girl there whether it was lobster or crab and she was all "What's the difference? Isn't it the same thing?"

Sorry about that. Next time I'll try to not start a discussion about our changing reading habits and instead post a link to a bitchy article of interest only to people in New York.
What was I thinking.

pixelgeek: With the title "I can ride a bike again", did you really expect people to take this seriously?

Coincidence; I was just wondering what pixelgeek wasn't reading these days.

I'll assume that several other have already flagged this. (I am very, very selective on my flagsāI've only flagged a handful of things.) This is a very Miguelesque, navel-gazing kind of a post. It'd be bad in MeTa, but it's surprising that it didn't occur to you that if it were appropriate anywhere, it'd be MeTa and not here. Weird.
If I can work up the interest, maybe I'll check to see what you bothered to link to in your post. Maybe. Probably not.

This is a very Miguelesque
Oh! And where is Miguel? The five-buckers have been dominating and are great but I sometimes pine for the old days.

I find the blogger's refusal to understand creative commons licensing slightly interesting, in the same way that an irritating child that won't stop saying the same stupid thing over and over is slightly interesting.
