I gotta cut down on my media intake. I'm already sick of this guy and his 'stache. Oh well. At least he's not Ted Nugent.

Baxter ran for office on the Republican ticket, iirc, about ten or so years ago.

As far as the 'stache, maybe he's looking to take over for Bolton inside the administration. Can't have too many FlavR-SavR facial adornments, innit?

Beyond being a double post, this is really really old news.

I would like to take this opportunity to announce that "Black Water" is one of my most favorite songs, ever.

I'm partial to "China Grove" for it's simplicity and cunning ability to down incoming ICBMs at a moments notice. But who doesn't like it for those reasons?

I almost did exactly the same thing, GS.

This story has actually been around for at least 5 years. Not trying to ruin the party. Just sayin'...

And was last discussed on that thread about the maths girl from that TV show. You know, with the kids.

Heh. Even though I liked the Doobies, Baxter's solo on "Reelin' In The Years" stands as his premier contribution to rock and roll. A truly excellent peice of work, that.

Just sayin' here, but I mighta posted this in the "Winnie Cooper from the Wonder Years is a math wiz" thread a while ago. Since then it has been posted twice.
