State-Sponsored Israeli Barbarism

Not Guilty: The Israeli officer who shot 17 bullets into a 10 yr-old girl. What message does this (or the fact that American torture of prisoners has led to barely any convictions) send to the Muslim world? What does it say about the barbarism of Christianity and Judaism? I ask these questions, because MeFi posts often ask why the Muslim world does not get outraged about suicide bombers or 'terrorism'. Well, what outcry in Israel is there against this acquittal? Or in the U.S., given it's undying support for the Israeli government and military support to the IDF? Why aren't all Israeli rabbis telling their adherents to conscientiously object from serving in the Israeli army? Why isn't the average person in the U.S. apologizing to the people who have been tortured, and hysterical at Bush who wants to veto the McCain-sponsored bill outlawing torture? Why is the Christian right silent on the matter? Are they complicit? Does Christianity advocate torture?
