Did you know metafilter is open on weekends?

Oh, give him a break. He'd have to have done a search for "Cheney" down a full half-page to find anything at all.

Is it now?

Tsk, delmoi, the other one hadn't even left the front page yet. Shame, shame!

(psst....you're supposed to be setting a good example for us plebes in the $5 crowd. :) )

Well, I intended to do that. Dosn't that count?

Let us just scroll down and tell the other thread that it is a double post. While we here, at Delmoi's, can parody the old one. Then Mathowie will come by and remove all of our work from the front page.

You lost the Newsfilter race. You need to refresh Drudge more frequently.

you know, I thought this was a joke, because this post had already been doubled, even. If it had been a joke, it would have been a brilliant one. Oh well.

I liked the old one, but this new FPP benefits from pep. It's more current, and hotter.

I predict it will long be seen as a classic of its kind.

Since this happened yesterday, you don't suppose that somebody thought to post this before now, do ya? Nah!

You know, I bet if you just teach yourself a few mental "tricks" you'd have no problems remembering if posts had been made or not.

I love to post a funny photoshoped image in here, but I'm at work and don't have time. So use your imagination: Cheney's head for Elmer Fudd's and that lawyer from the simpsons (not Lionel Hutz, Burn's lawyer) instead of Daffy duck in a screen grab from the classic looney tunes. You know "Rabbit season" "No, duck season", but now "Rabbit Season" "Lawyer Season". I sure someone with more time can put this together...
