Recently, I had the opportunity to play an arcade game called "Whack -a- Mole". The game has a horiziontal playing field, with holes in it. When you put your money in, (50 cents in this case) plastic mole-like figures start popping up in a somewhat random manner. It is your job to hit them squarely on the head, with a large mallet, thereby causing them to drop back into the hole. It is fun, for a little while, but then becomes stressful and tiresome. I think it would be more fun, however, if the moles looked more like celebrities instead of harmless little animals.
