Max Blumenthal interviews war cheerleaders at the College Republican National Convention. The students parroted the party line, about how "we had to fight them over there, so we didn't have to fight them over here", but hemmed and hawed like a prom queen caught with her dress over her head when asked why they weren't over there with the real soldiers willing to put their life on the line to "fight the good fight".

I dunno, that prom queen seems fairly unambiguous.

They're truly Bush supporters than. Dubya was fanatically in support of Vietnam, but couldn't be bothered to fight in it, nor even serve in the Reserves.

I have a theory why they aren't "over there". I'm still working on it, but it just may prove to be the breakthrough we've all been looking for:
They're pussies!

Worst anti-war argument ever. Makes the anti-war crowd look like asshats.
As someone who actually signed up for impeachbush.org, this is embarassing, because I also have friends who were Republicans in college, voted for bush, supported the war, and joined the fucking military. Many people in middle america have experienced the same thing.
