Snake caught eating cocky

Cockatoo cops it LAST month, it was an Aussie spider chowing down on local birdlife that caused a media frenzy around the world but, today, a python has taken up the challenge with a hapless sulphur-crested cockatoo falling victim to its hungry jaws in Cairns.

Birds are supposed to eat spiders, but snakes are supposed to eat birds, or why else hang out in trees? So this is basically a dog bites man story. You wouldn't have posted this if that was a black bird.
