Sexing up the monologue

Ever since Allan Bennett's classic Talking Heads BBC Monologues, there doesn't seem to have been any evolution of the idea... Until maybe now. A new teen comedy/drama called 'Mouth To Mouth' gives monologues the sexed up teen treatment.
