Noah Grey - saying "Goodbye"?

What's that about? All his sites carry the same message or link to it. This remarkably talented, and well known, young man has a farewell message pasted on almost all his urls, and linked from others. His date of departure is January 1st 2009. Am I the only person who finds this more than a little worrying?
