“About four months ago, I ran out of cash.” Elon Musk, self-proclaimed poor person, will ring the opening bell at NASDAQ tomorrow to mark the initial public offering of the first automaker to go public since 1956. Investors are giddy. Skeptics are skeptical. Meanwhile, critics of the first Tesla vehicle are mostly positive [self-link]. The company's second offering, a $49K electric sedan, certainly looks promising. So is this a Green Car Bellweather?
