Wikipedia user Earnestp has only made two edits, but they are both brilliant.

This post was deleted for the following reason: if you can't link directtly to the diffs this isn't really a great post for MeFi since yes, someone should fix that and encouraging lulzy wikipedia editing isn't really what we're about. -- jessamyn

This is crazy, but I'mma go with it.

It's also as brilliant as all the other comedians who translate rap/hip hop for whites. Bill Maher comes to mind.

I thought about linking to the edits themselves, but they're a little difficult to read.

He would have made more edits, but he had to go return some tapes.

North Lewis, as it intersects 21st Street in Long Beach, is a pretty small street. I wonder where said dice fracas occurred.

Wikipedia needs more narrative. The problem is, when people add/change stuff that breaks the narrative. Sometimes even a single word change can break an entire paragraph of narrative, with shifts if chronology or counter-points. It's hard to write great prose and then watch it slowly get chopped up.

I'm baffled. how do you know what he edited on those two pages?

This reminds me of the peculiar event wherein the grandmother of the famous rhymist of the 'hip-hop' genre, L.L. Cool J, had made a specific request to the esteemed Mr. Cool J that critics of his skillful rhythmic wordsmithing should be rendered unconscious by the means of fisticuffs, in order to ensure that the populace would continue to recognize his continued and future success within that particular musical genre.

When Nate Dogg says 'they're dropping and yelling, it's a tad bit late,' is he saying that he shot them as they tried to surrender?

Reminds me of the person writing ironically earnest book reviews on Amazon 5-10 years ago.

If by "fixed" you mean "removed my subtext and stated the obvious", then success!

But it's all good, it just means we agree.

So he removed a comma?

No, he wrote the synopsis sections for both articles. Did you click more than one of the diff links?
