The FBI files of Billie Holiday

A confidential source in the Federal Narcotics Bureau advises that Billie Holiday and her husband, Joseph Levy, were arrested at one fifty five p.m., January twenty two last. Source states that Holiday and Levy are known users of narcotics and have been under close observation by Federal Bureau of Narcotics during their tour while in Utah and California.

everybody kinda knows that Billie holiday had a rough life with drugs, abuse, and prostitution
Everybody probably doesn't know that, so a Wikipedia link telling who she is would probably be good, along with a YouTube link or two showing her singing and a note about her influence on Jazz would be useful too.

Not only did she use drugs, but her biggest song was written by a Jewish schoolteacher (who also adopted the Rosenberg's children after they were executed). Man, there goes her whole mystique, right?
She would never have won American Idol. But of course the FBI was after her. That voice could slay.
