But seriously guys, can we just talk about how awesome Bam Bam Bigelow was until this post gets deleted?

SUPER awesome, btw.

I used to think 'Wow, Bam Bam Bigelow has a, like, sideshow-freak level of tattoos.' But now, I've got more tattoos than he does (well, than he did in those days--for all I know he's all Lucky Diamond Bam Bam these days).

Ha Sweden smugly thinks it has the monopoly on snow.
But we have 5 cm now.
Ha!!

Buffalo has like a meter of snow.

oh c'mon joose, 5 cm? we have 15 in southern Sweden. Go get your chair and learn to ice-skate. (only the Dutch do it with chairs, you craaazey)

box, can you tell me if I like chocolate for real? I need to know. It is very important to me.

Ladies and gentlemen
Take my advice
Pull down your pants
And slide on the ice.

treepour, your love for chocolate is genuine and enduring. Your warm feelings for nougat, however, are transitory.
posted by box at 12:55 PM on December 4, 2010

ha dabitch, I know. But our measly 5 cm is so special to us. Pathetic, I know.
Snowballfight!

OMG I am so relieved. The feelings for nougat were kind of recent anyway. Thank you so much, box.
posted by treepour at 12:57 PM on December 4, 2010

treepour, then you DO like chocolate.

It may be of some slight interest to you that chocolate is poison to dogs.

Chairs. We've been practising skating with them since the 17th century.
So I guess it's a matter of proud national culture.
Pah. Your derision fortifies us in our common feeling of Dutchness.
Centuries of continuous skating culture.
(and I think the swedes can't hold a candle to our skaters)

box, why didn't you tell me about the poison?????

I think they're about to 'soap up' ringo (inzepen).
That is: take a handful of snow and rub it in someones face or neck.
posted by joost de vries at 1:03 PM on December 4, 2010

if you can use centimeters to usefully describe how much snow you have then you don't really have any snow.
