"Steve Matthews" was busted by a smart and angry ebay user who got ripped-off. Reading the article, I realized the name Steve Matthews rang a bell...

or was it Steve Jobs? I was selling a very expensive video deck on ebay in October and this guy tried the exact same spiel on me. I had the machine *packed* and addressed before a friend of mine convinced me not to ship it. Here is the last bit of our correspondence:
