Apocalypto: Watch the trailer in your preferred format and then pause it right around the time the guy gets hit by the net ~1:45 seconds in. Frame-by-frame through the montage until you spot the frame I refer to. Is that....Riggs?

This was pointless enough the first time it was posted.

It makes you wonder about the quality of the filter site it came from.

Mmm - almost Christmas dup, except without any yummy brandy cream... :-(

I hold up a dot for the sad demise of this (rather boring) thread...

If posters want people to see a particular frame, could they just link to that frame and spare everyone having to download a whole trailer? Thanks, and do check the front page before posting.

crap, sorry for the dupe.

Good point. Trenchant. This situation comes up a lot, and it's hard to click on a link to a whole trailer.

Jesus Christ. Did you think for two seconds before posting that? Who cares how often it comes up? It's come up twice today, and the point is not whether it's "hard to click on a link to a whole trailer," the point is 1) we shouldn't have to watch a whole trailer because of one frame, and 2) according to the earlier thread, most people who did watch the whole trailer didn't even notice the frame. If you want to show somebody something funny in the New Yorker, do you toss the whole magazine at them and say "it's about two-thirds of the way through"? But I'm glad you were able to get your morning snark in without actually using your brain.

Yes, I thought about it and decided you were jumping in to make a snide, useless remark in a thread that was soon to disappear. And you're a role model here.

No, I just read them the punchline. It's really annoying when people make you listen to the whole joke first.

I did. I thought for exactly two seconds. The first two seconds I was awake. You all have my sincerest apology for being so incredibly imbecilic.
To be honest, I thought about posting just the frame (or another link), but to me the incredible weirdness of the picture is completely lost out of context.
Rest assured, though, it will never happen again.

Next time spend the first two seconds looking at what is already on the front page. The frame was already in context because the whole thing had already been posted.

This is the frame in question, for anyone who didn't see it in the previous thread. Also, this soon to be deleted post has become a tad bitter (early morning crankiness no doubt). Let's all hold hands and sing something and tell each other that we are sorry.

Dude, that's what we do around here in threads doomed to deletion. Been here long?

there's also another frame elsewhere in the trailer that shows him sitting down at a computer and posting this to the blue for a third time.
