Discover New Illustrators via Patchbox

Patchbox is an easy & fun way to discover online visual artists you may not have otherwise known. Each artist submits only an 80 x 80 pixel thumbnail, and if you like what you see, a clickthrough takes you to their gallery/homepage. Found via.

jonson, you are trying to ruin my life. I can tell, because I am going to be clicking those frickin' thumbnails for weeks.

Does anyone have an issue where, after the page loads (looking like this), it suddenly reloads with some thumbnails expand and take up extra space? (like this) it seems like there's some kind of javascript hack at work, or something is screwed up.

Yeah, jonson, you are amazing.

Michael Dashow's illustrations are wonderful! I enjoy his mix of sci-fi and warm humor for adults and kids. From his blog he seems like a delightful person too. I love his Rhinoscerous who Quoted Nietzsche, Prehistoric Fireworks and the Farewell Kiss. His Mercy in Space looks like the busy Frank Gehry cafeteria at the Condé Nast building here in NYC.

Rhonald Blommestijn - Illustrator of the un-illustratable is marvelous. I like Alida Saxon's work too.

The only flaw I can see with this link is that somehow, my own work is not represented.
