David Lee?

Good God forgive me. David Lee Roth performs "Jump" with a bluegrass band. This has almost no musical merit whatsoever. Why post it? Ya can't miss the feakshow baby. (For the record, I was a huge fan...of Van Halen I.)

This post was deleted for the following reason: yeah, this is from last year and was posted already

I thought it was pretty good, actually.

Ah, hell, I still love the guy, but with his vocal range, why not nail down a real bluegrass song?

Good video, but sadly a double.

snsranch, I just spoke to God, and I'm sorry but no, he won't forgive you.

You gotta hand it to ol' David Lee, though, what a good sport. And he's just so damn exuberant, you sorta can't help but love him. It's a bit unfortunate that he couldn't somehow meet the bluegrass style halfway, as a vocalist, that is. Well, he's not really a singer, after all, though... he's a pop-rocker and that's that.

Aw, come on, that was okay.

Diamond Dave's freakish grin... disturbing.

Double, wow. Please delete me.

God will not forgive you, but rest assured, in your time of need Moderators will. You will be deleted, my son. Though whether or not in a timely fashion, no man can say.

His vocalisations are the worst that I've seen, I think you know what I mean.

F@M, I can only pray. mattamyn please hope me, I know it's Sunday evening and I should have been praying anyway instead of poking fun at David Lee.

Oh please. You all wish you were Diamond Dave. Look at him here back in his prime. That dude musta gotten laid more than some countries.

jonmc, looking at him there (not to mention hearing him) makes me very happy indeed that I am not Diamond Dave. But, hey, like David Bowie, I never wanted to be a rock star.

Van Halen has reformed with Dave and they're taking it on the road, I believe.

Oh my god, but how he reminds me of Fred Willard's character from Waiting for Guffman...

Seeing him with that republican haircut is more disturbing than the bluegrass cover of jump.

Now that was some fun. A very decent adaptation by the band. Roth?...well....that's like watching a car wreck

Makes my dulcimer version of Dance the Night Away seem downright rustic.

Already passed on to every bluegrass fan I know.

That was surreal.

As punishment, you must now watch Dave (Hasslehoff's) Jump in My Car, in its entirety.

(Complete with right-hand drive KITT -- blastphemy!!!)

The bluegrass "Jump" was cool, but I just watched that "Unchained" video 4 times in a row.
