Well to be fair this was one of the questions
The water of the earth's oceans stores lots of heat. An engineer designed an ocean liner that would extract heat from the ocean's waters at Tb = 10°C(283 K) and reject heat to the atmosphere at T1 = 20°C(293 K). He thought he had a good idea but his boss fired him. Explain.
I think I know what the question is trying to ask (it would be strange to try to transfer heat from the ocean to the atmosphere, since the atmosphere is warmer) But how does he come up with the word "reject"? Did he mean "eject"? Even then it would still be a strange, poorly written question.
