I Can Hath Cheezeburger?: Geoffrey Chaucer meets the LOLCATS meme (with manuscript macros). The Judith Butler reference wins it.

Man, if this doesn't get deleted I'm totally gonna have a complex.

Yeah, Asparagirl, I think jonson is probably right about this likely being deleted. But it might not. You are much more HAWT than jonson, so maybe yours will slide.

I only barely tolerated cats before this meme started. Now I want the species extinct.

Humans, that is.

Crap. Dios has a point. My vagina isn't NEARLY as appealing as Asparagirls. Now I feel bad about my deleted post AND my vagina. Thanks a LOT, dios.

Sorry jonson. Your great posts make my pants feel funny, but you don't. Don't take it hard, man. You are still a pug man, which goes a long way with me.

I am being torn to shreds inside. On one hand, I love LOLcats and therefore I love this post. On the other hand, I have a undeniable need to guard myself against overexposure to them so I can continue to enjoy them, and therefore I hate this post. But then again, these were totally funny in their own right and I'm glad I saw them, therefore I love this post. And yet, I don't want to encourage this trend, and so I feel compelled to point out how much I hate this post.

If anyone needs me, I'll be down in the breakroom has-ing a cheezburger.

There is no way this should be deleted. This is woefully clever. As Homer Simpson said upon viewing Twin Peaks, "This is brilliant. I have no idea what's going on."

How many quest coins do I get for my response?

It's my tits you should really be worried about. I'm preggo, so they're currently HUGE.

Feel better yet?

Wow. Usually the LOLCat macros make me feel less intelligent afterwards. These made me feel inferior.

This one
made me laugh though.

Mentioning HUGE tits wins the thread.

I still find LOLcats funny. The funny ones, anyway.

I am afraid that in the near future, LOLCat macros will be the dominant form of language used around the world. Contracts, laws, scientific journals....

This is the dumbest fucking thing I've ever seen. Not even mildly amusing. And it had a lot of potential.

Jesus.

Asparagirl, did you really think this had merit? Or were you just trying to capitalize on the novelty of it?

Ok now THAT is awesome. I expect a photoshop of that within the hour in this thread, provided the thread lasts that long.

Which it shouldn't.

Haters. The Lolcatz thing is just one post, the rest of the blog is worthwhile.

Asparagirl: you really set off the Crash signal with that comment. It's not nice to tease the guy.

I feel like I should mention I have no intention of removing this thread. I like the blog, the meme is but a small part therein.

I liked this, esp. the courtly love thing. It was cleverer than most things of this ilk, and was posted by a gal with huge tits.

I just... I just don't know.

This reminds me of the first time I had Cincinnati chili. Was it good? Was it bad? What was it? I had to try it again on a different day to even decide what my reaction was. It was the same way with poutine. I think the lolChaucer may fall into the same category.

I liked both in the end. In its favor, the chili had lots of cheese on top, and the poutine was smothered in gravy. Similarly the lolChaucer comes with Geoffrey Chaucer as the username and comments in fake old English. But is it the bad cheesy or the deliciously over the top cheesy with literary references on the side?

On preview: now going to check out the rest of the blog.
