Holy Moley! Where do they buy groceries?? On a related note, I bet they don't get DSL, either. No thanks. :)

Nice place for a long vacation, though, esp. the one on the big green sloping island. Just as long as you don't go sledding and get going too fast ...

Damn it. Here comes the little green footballs brigade. You blew the Veep's undisclosed location.

Fun pictures.

I've seen some very isolated little houses (well maybe more along the lines of cottages or cabins rather than houses) on islands in Nunavut. Some of these photographs though look like year-round houses rather than seasonal cabins.

It doesn't seem to be a double as such, octothorpe, but it certainly is extremely close. We probably don't need another one in any event.

I would kill the pope to have any of these as vacation homes.

Come to mind...I'd kill the pope for a dirty-water hotdog off some Russian guy at Canal and Broadway.

Same-same.

Those are nifty photos, but I can't help but have problems with sites like that which grab nifty photos from flickr and whatnot and just repost them, surrounded with ads. Some of the other photos there in the sidebar I've seen other places.

For example, this gallery was lifted from this flickr album.

It's ad whoring with other people's content, and it works really well when the pages get posted to sites like digg, Reddit, MeFi, etc.
