DNC snubs one of its biggest constituencies

The Democratic National Committee is apparently holding an interfaith convention. Secularists weren't invited, which definitely doesn't make the Dems look good.

Considering the fact that, y'know, we secularists number more than all the non-Christian religious groups in the country combined.

Everything the Democrats do is bad. Or so I've heard from the country's Democrats.

So does this mean I'm supposed to vote for Ron Paul, or what? Definitely more annoyed by the FISA vote.

"Oh me oh my, the Democrats don't look good."

The Empire is being destroyed by debt and people still think there's a difference between Democrats and Republicans.

Un-fucking-believable.

I think you "progressives" are sometimes as bad as the nutty flyover state right wingers who vote for the anti-abortionists and the anti-gay marriage candidates - bamboozled by non-issues while the things that really matter are being stripped away from them.

As an atheist, I'd feel kind've out of place at an interfaith convention. I wouldn't feel slighted for not being invited to a convention I have no interest in, but that's just me.

Obama just met with Rick Warren. How can this "interfaith convention" news surprise you?

The pandering to irrational deluded cultists who claim to talk to and know the creator of the universe will continue in every campaign and administration because respecting such ignorance means votes, money, and power. What a shocker.
