AWW! That widdle black crow is soo black! Kind of eerie seeing the horse as scarecrow, discombobulating. Reminded me of the great Lion King puppets by Julie Taymor, there-not-there simultaneously. Fun.

I think the horse hated them long before halloween. They named it boo boo after all.

Nah. The horse loves them, and nobody loves horses more than this family. The videographer is a former student of mine. Her mom is the ultimate horse whisperer. For decades she has taken in horses that are deemed too mean or wicked for anything but the glue factory, and within a week she's riding them. No hobbles or whips. Just love and body language.

Sorry but that does NOT look like a crow on a scarecrow. It looks like a horse with a straw hat being ridden by a tiny black gorilla.

It's not a self link. I have never met the mom. I run into my former student every couple of years or so.
It's a link that I think is interesting and creative and cute that otherwise would not be seen by many people.
