Playing for Change is devoted to changing the world through music. Sounds cliche, but a look at their global collaborative production of Stand by Me might convince you that they are a force to be reckoned with.

Step 1: Round up excellent street musicians / 'ethnic' musicians from various nations to perform kick-ass version of "Stand By Me."

Step 2: ?

Step 3: Change world.

Liked the song, but I'm still fuzzy about step 2.

Really neat technique, would be fun to seen explored artfully, using music that's not as cliche and tired as "Stand by Me."

And now, the Coca Cola commercial version...
