I'm not sure framing a 20 minute video as "LOLCOPS" and with only the victim's wife's side of the story is the best way to go about sharing this.

I'm only three minutes into the video, but so far...well, I think the cops are acting pretty professionally?

The video starts halfway through the alleged event, with only the narrative provided by the wife as background. There's massive potential for this to be a skewed representation of the actual events.

But, really, this should be turfed until this is actually a story.

Watch all of it. "Three minutes" in (actually a few more) is just providing context.

'God save thee, angry YouTube wife,
From the fiends that plague thee thus!—
Why shriek'st thou so?'—"There is no crossbow,
But my neighbors called the cops."

You missed off the LOLmorons tag.

I plan to watch the whole thing, but so far, I'm just confused and a little pissed off at this guy and his wife. And I am by no means a huge fan of cops myself.

If there's one thing MetaFilter needs more of, it's rushing to the defense of the establishment without even RTFA.

Your honor, this man is clearly innocent, based on the wife's claim that it "NEVER HAPPENED."
