[Choking back tears of rage] Forever war means forever war, you hear that?

If you invade a country and prop up a government for nearly 20 years and it collapses in a matter of weeks without your support, then it wasn't a legitimate government, no matter how economically liberal, friendly to the West, and "democratic" it was.

It might have been a bit more durable if hadn’t spent 4 years under Trump undermining it by releasing thousands of Taliban and signing a deal with the Taliban without the advice or consent of the government we spent all that money creating. A deal that basically let them take over as soon as we left.

If I were a Democrat, personally I wouldn't want to give Trump credit for Biden's only outstanding achievement.
