Darths and Droids

For those who enjoyed "DM of the Rings", there is now "Darths & Droids", by a team who eventually intend to process all six of the Star Wars films.

It's a different group of people, but the perpetrator of DMotR strongly recommends Darths & Droids.

I read a few pages and when I looked up, my wife and kids were gone and I was in my parents' basement.

Before you, DU, you see three human males sitting at a folding table with you. They appear to be in their teens. The one opposite of you, inexplicably, has a hood covering most of his face and is nose down in hastily scrawled upon documents. The one to his right is wearing glasses, has unkempt, greasy brown hair. The one to your right is clutching a metal can of a fizzy urine-colored substance with one hand and a 20-sided dice with the other.

Snigger all you like but, if recent strips are anything to go by, they've got the most logical explanation yet for Jar Jar Binks :)

Sequels usually aren't as good as the original, especially when they're from a different crew. DM of the Rings is a tough act to follow. Darths & Droids isn't at all bad. I look forward to more installments.

Thought it was a bit of a slow start so I skipped to the end and that explanation of Jar Jar IS genius!

I've got a lingering nagging doubt that DM Of The Rings, hilarious though it was, will have slightly spoilt the movies for me... something I've got no worries about Darth and Droids doing, because, of course, George has already murdered my childhoodTM

Hmm, I had originally read the Gazebo Incident in a Knights of the Dinner Table comic book.
Wonder if it came from the story porpoise linked to , or if the KotDT gang got it from that story.
Anyhow, KotDT is a great read fro recovering dungeon dwellers.

The name is a parody of King Arthur's round table reinforced by the truism that roleplaying aficionados often end up sitting round their host's dinner table as it's the only one large enough to accommodate the party (4 to 8 people typically).

?!?

That's what pool tables are for. (yes, in the basement)
