Yep. That's "Crazy Rhythms" at the beginning of the scene, too.

Er...

This scene is so great, I wish I liked Demme and Something Wild more than I actually do.

I remember seeing the Feelies back in Madison, Wisconsin, right before this movie came out. I so loved them. This was just the whipped cream. In one month I had seen Adrian Belew, King Crimson, Talking Heads, and The Feelies. I can't believe I'm saying this but I kind of miss the Eighties.

Can I get a soda?

If we are talking Something Wild soundtrack, lets not forget Sister Carol.

It's hard to believe that it has been 30 years since I saw them live.

I wish more people remembered these 80s. It wasn't all Whitesnake, Journey, and Flock of Seagulls. There was some extraordinary stuff: movies, music, culture.

Also: Melanie Griffith was beautiful.

Lastly: I feel old.

I saw the Feelies for the first time ever last year, at ATP NY. They played Crazy Rhythms in its entirety, and it was just phenomenal.

so yeah, echoing the "Feelies are great" sentiment.

Thanks for this post. I love the Feelies. namewithoutwords, I am extremely jealous. Like, extremely. Crazy Rhythms is such a fantastic album - every song.

err the feelies are awesome but not exactly funky. Not their best representation here imo.

I love the feelies because they don't look like rockstars. They are true geeks. No "advertising looks" as Pavement would say.

I really, really love the Feelies. Just wanted to pile on.

They shot a good 2/3 of this film in Tallahassee, Florida. It's a normal thing to sit, watch this film, and spot the locations.

Just wanted to say that.
