Fantomatick is a slightly surrealistic often disturbing
French photographic blogspot often NSFW.

Also, beardcat is what you get when you cross Dalí with the internet and a handbag full of drugs. Badarse, but I'm still not sure which one is the boss.
I don't think anyone will ever know.

The images behind "away" are by Shirin Neshat, a great Iranian photographer working in NYC. I have enjoyed shows and speaking occasions she's been involved with over the years.

ha! i love it that under the 'freaks' category i find images from one of my favorite books from childhood ("Freaks"), boris karloff, and the man who gave me my first professional piercing, fakir musafar.
joy!

I love that the sideshow people are credited. I've been reading their wikipedia bios, such as the remarkable life of Baltimorean Johnny Eck.

Slightly absurd that under each photo is a '© photographer' considering they are all published without permission.

What is this guy doing? Is the stick and columns some kind of drawing technique?

Does anyone have any info on the beard guy? I've also got a couple pics of him, possibly from the same shoot but in different poses, sitting in a massive throne and holding beard out everywhere. No idea where they came from, tho...

There is likely a grid of strings in the frame that matches the number of squares on his drawing paper. It is a trick to accurately draw a foreshortened subject.

I was pleased that at least he provided attribution. Most "these are cool images" blogs don't bother with that much.

This wonderful picture of Dali in his studio was taken by Yul Brynner?

That Dali au Travail...wow. The artist himself is far more exotic than the model in that one.

Pinky: It's from a photo series called "María Lionza. La diosa de los ojos de agua" by Cristina García Rodero, about an indigenous religion in Venezuela. Other pics on Google.

Yeah, its a step in the right direction, I just thought it kind of funny that he used © in a case where it was clearly a violation of ©.
