Vitamin D, First clinical trial [YouTube]. Dr. John Campbell has been wondering for weeks (months?) why the major health organizations aren't doing large scale clinical trials regarding the connection between low Vitamin D levels and worse Covid outcomes. Could it be that Vitamin D is dirt cheap?

Vitamin D and pandemic science

He is also urging people (Americans in particular) to sign up at the Zoe Covid-19 Tracking app

From Dr. Campbell's About page:
Hello Everyone,
My name is John Campbell and I am a retired Nurse Teacher and A and E nurse based in England. I also do some teaching in Asia and Africa when time permits. These videos are to help students to learn the background to all forms of health care. My PhD focused on the development of open learning resources for nurses nationally and internationally.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Hey this is framed in a kind of conspiratorial way that makes it feel like misinformation and we're trying to be careful around coronavirus related info. There are clinical trials related to vitamin D; maybe there's a better way to collect reliable info on where things stand on vitamin D? -- LobsterMitten

Nutritional and health scientific research is infuriating. I've spent dozens of hours reading up on Vitamin D3, Vitamin C and Vitamin K2 - individual research papers, reviews by scientists/researchers/doctors - and I still have no clue if and how impactful these supplements are in combating covid-19. 🤷‍♂️ The research is so contradictory and/or novel that you just have to get your levels checked and take a risk.
