Falling Squirrel Games has just released The Vale: Shadow of the Crown, also available on itch.io. It is also available for Xbox One, if you prefer to play on console. This is an audio action adventure game, meant to be enjoyable for blind and sighted players equally.

A gameplay video is available showcasing some of the game's voice acting, while an interview from 2020 explains some of the game's unique approach. It should be noted the protagonist is blind, though as said in the interview this is meant to fade into the background as the story progresses.

This looks really interesting! I'm in the road right now, but will definitely give this a play through once I'm back home... Really curious to see how the UX works. (I'm sure the linked boss give some indications, but don't want to spoil it!)

I'm very glad to learn that this exists.

This is fascinating. While there's plenty of good sound effects and music in games, I always felt that truly using sound to design games was a rare thing, with Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice being one of those that stood out. Which was also made by working with the help of a similar advocacy community (people with schizophrenia and other disorders with hallucinations).

This looks to be fascinating, I will definitely pick it up.
