Researchers in WA's north have discovered that northern quolls, thought to be nocturnal, take regular midnight naps. Researchers believe the naps may be related to digestion. Northern quolls in captivity are set to be studied further to understand more about why they take regular naps.

I, for one, welcome any assault on the artificial Nocturnal, Diurnal, and Crepuscular framework! I sleep and wake when I want to, damn it. And so do all my animal friends. There our "day" birds feeding their kids right freaking now, in my backyard. Cows are awake! You've been lied to!!!

I am a fan of naps, they do me good, and many of them, researches believe may be related to digestion.

I like the single frame on the video window of a quoll in full “dash away” mode.

Sorry, I am getting slow. I totally missed a "dash away, dash away, dash away, quoll" joke.
