No need to wrap 'em, I'll take 'em to go!

Just too cute...

Momma dragging them away from the den as they are all like, "it's cold out here, I'm going back to bed" A shame they are so able to kill you.

I like Serge Wolf's attitude, too! "It's their habitat, not ours"

This is the kind of content I need first thing in the morning as I emerge from my (much shorter) hibernation.

I was on the highway yesterday and got to listen to a good chunk of CBC Edmonton's morning radio program and they were interspersing the show with listener contributions re: wildlife encounters

one memorable encounter: mom looks out window to see 2-year old in yard, stroking the nose of a bear cub. Then mother bear looms into view, she casts a glance at the little human, sees it is no threat, and lumbers a short distance away for berries

awww, I totes made funny noises watching this.

bears are the epitome of "if not friend why friend shaped?" but also terrifying (as adults) and something far beyond mere cute as babies. so cute!!! so little and wobbly. I hope they all thrive.

It never occurred to me a bear would back into her den like that.

I have quite vivid memories of my mother letting me pet a bear that was wandering through town when I was 2 or 3 years old.

My mother remembers that incident *extremely* differently and assures me that no matter what my toddler brain may have imagined, she saw the bear and immediately hightailed it back to the store where she waited until my Dad got off work and stopped to pick her up and drive her the two blocks home.

This is the sort of thing you put up with when you live in a town called Bear Lake.

Did she take you with her?

Hahah, yes. I was in a stroller and apparently I stayed in the stroller and was not allowed out to pat the bear.

The babies are ridiculously cute, but I also like Mom's downward facing dog at 1:17.

Incredibly cute bears. Perfect backing music. Lovely human. All of this is extremely good.
