Hello Kitty!

"There's a Hello Kitty outside my window. Can I have a glass of water?"
In April of 1993 we did a feature issue on Crop Circles. In that issue we gave proof of their validity in an interview with Prof. William Levengood, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of the University of Michigan. Since then, the Circles have become more elaborate (they're now called "pictograms" and "glyphs"), and they have been appearing in greater numbers.
Well, this one sure is pretty elaborate huh? Care to chime in Professor?

Damn, I always knew that freaky looking cat was Not. Of. This. Earth (cue spooky music).
What always kills me about crop circles is that people refuse to believe that they are manmade, they have to believe in ET coming down and doodling in a field.

Could this possibly be photoshopped? I couldn't find any other pictures of it online, and all links I found linked back to viceland...

Read the article below the picture, that explains how it came to be. There's also an audio commentary on the page that you can play.

I found the same picture here. (That link also has a link to Surface2Air, the creators of the crop circle. Their website is seriously annoying.)

Yeah, I read the article. Gordon Hull is indeed the co-founder of Surface2Air, but there is no mention of this project on their (suck-ass) website.
I think it's bogus. Why would the guy mis-spell his company's own name?

I'm with Specklet on this one.
I've not heard of viceland before, but seeing as every other article I looked through is a piss-take makes me think we shouldnt take this one too seriously....

Coincidentally I saw a Hello Kitty Ferrari yesterday. May be Photoshop.

Continuing Surface2Air's website de-rail: Ugh. Browser re-size, barely legible text, counterintuitive everything. Maybe they think they need to be obtuse to maintain a mystique.

My guess is legit. Scroll down a bit here to see a view of the circle from the ground & other shots.
Evidently, circlemakers did the actual planning.

I like how they say THIS IS NOT A CROP CIRCLE on that page Sangre Azul links to.....

Oooh, nice. (Yes, it's a Hello Kitty post - I had to respond.)
Also, apologies for the OT, but I the only one who thinks it's odd that Hello Kitty now has a pet cat?

Wait... isn't that like kitty slavery?
And what's the deal with the little Piglet-esque hamster pal?

Ahh, Sangre Azul, you have changed my mind. Those are the pics I needed to see.
I still think that Surface2Air's site is a piece of donkey ass.
