- Gabe's Bage began her life as a delicious sesame bagel, purchased in a pack of 6, destined to drown in peanut butter and E.D. Smith WildBerry jam. However, for Gabe's Bage, it was not to be. On this day Gabe screamed "Don't want it!" at breakfast time, and so the little bagel bits that were to be his breakfast sat on the plate. Though the dog longed for them, they set all day. They dried out. And so, Gabe's Bage was reborn as a crouton. Now she lives happily, Mummy pets Gabe and Gabe pets the dog and the dog pets the crouton. One day, when a grape rolls under the couch, Gabe's Bage will have a sweet raisin to pet and the chain of love and nurturing will grow longer.
