Parts of that were eerily similar to the roughhousing I do with my five year old son...

That is some deft panda handling, that is.

Note that tackle is used here as a verb and not a noun.

Whew.

Note that tackle is used here as a verb and not a noun.

I did not even think of that. I am so ashamed. I now have to rethink the headline I was working of: "Panda Tackle Tickle Pickle" as being open to misunderstanding....

Little known fact, the adorable nature of the panda masks the vile, bullying panda culture beneath. All the while, the baby panda is running for help, and the bigger panda is telling him, dude, I can do this all day, and no one will come to rescue you. I'm freaking adorable!

You think anyone's gonna believe you, baby panda? You think the zoo staff will help you? I'm so cute and you're just a stupid cute baby panda. I'm gonna bite your stupid cute leg off right in front of everyone and no one's going to do a thing about it. nomnomnomnom.

That's exactly I play with one of our cats!

"Noooo, barnacles, don't catch me I'm going to run! ..."
"...GOTCHA! *roll*"
"*PURRRRRRRR* .... nooo, barnacles, don't get me I'm going to run!"
And so forth.

Awesomely adorable video, y'got thar.

I'm thinking that is not the mother panda but a crazed spinster aunt. Or drunk uncle.

For some reason the headline reminds me of the Ween Song "Pandy Fackler".

Curiously, while small things are generally adorable, the big panda is far and away more adorable than the little one. Perhaps s/he is draining the small one to build up an adorableness reserve for the lean years....
