Jstris uses the same basic mechanics as most other block games.

Ah yes, I've been a huge fan of Other Block Game since I had Other Block Game on my Japanese Fun Male Child

If you didn't originally play Other Block Game on your Japanese Family Computer, you're not a real gamer.

Note the Settings button to make it so the Up keyboard button is Hard Drop instead of Rotate, like a civilized person

I became annoyed because merely by visiting the website I was forced to start playing, I had no idea if I was in the larger game or not, what my username was or anything else. I think I came in 4th? But I don't really know because I never picked a username or was able to figure out what was happening other than hey, surprise Tetris.

What are you talking about, glonous keming? We're discussing Other Block Game here.

I figured out the rooms, so you can have a 1 on 1 game. Worth knowing. Or we could create a room just for this thread.

So... it's Tetris 99 but not on Switch?

This is fun. (More fun once I figured out you can turn off the weird shadow feature. Maybe you get used to it eventually, but I found it impossible to use.) Thanks!

A while back I discovered a browser-based emulator of Super Puzzle Fighter, which play relentlessly long ago. Friends and I used to spend hours betting on competitions. I was initially happy to find that I was still really good at it after twenty years. . . and then I was sad because after beating the AI with all the knobs turned up to max it stopped being a challenge. Sadly, multiplayer mode, where it really becomes fun, requires people sitting at the same keyboard. Someone should buy that property and make an online competitive version. I'm guessing the incomprehensible use of Street Fighter characters may make that complicated.

I am not really sure whether my family's Tandy computer from Radio Shack was Japanese, and I'm too lazy to search the internet to find out.
