What sold me on Kitty Pryde was this "based freestyle" she posted a month ago.

She's a teenager writing songs and posting them on the internet, which is exactly what I would have been doing in high school if the means to do it over my family's dial up actually existed back then. It must be a generational issue. I am my cooler self. It isn't legendary but all in all a fine existence. I got past saving the world in my early twenties. I "found" myself in my late 30's. I became comfortable at the age of 50 now I am coming to terms with the fact this act does not go on forever. Have fun share a smile it really cannot be any better. It seems to me that the big changes, the ones that make our world recognizable, came between 1930 and 1970.

Really the big change is self-service. I'd say the other changes (like bar codes and 'gigantization') are all consequences of that idea.

Right now, Readability doesn't import Instapaper history or queues, and it probably won't have that feature built in soon, mostly out of respect for Marco's work since the two teams used to collaborate loosely.

I assume you are not looking for a job. If you were I'd tell you to go work for UPS somewhere. I had a part time job there one summer and I got to learn all the zip codes, more or less, and group packages into 13 different groups and take the boxes coming off of trucks and sort them onto conveyor belts. Microsoft is definitely still in this. They have the technical know-how and the money to keep throwing pancakes at the ceiling for a decade, and one of those pancakes might stick, if they can only figure out how to make something people actually want.

Anyone who thinks there is a lack of focus isn't paying attention. Maybe the discontent is a little broad, but the problems many of us face today aren't as simple as "end the Vietnam War." Its more like, "I am a single mom raising my son that my church told me to keep, working two jobs to pay for the babysitter, living with a friend because I can't get a mortgage, and my state disapproves of my lesbian relationship."

I am a professional funeral director (though not working in Iowa) and there are no laws being broken here as far as I can tell.

This happens a lot more often than you'd realize. I've been around the funeral business all of my life and dead babies never fail to creep me out. But the services aren't for me. They're for the family. And I facilitate what they need. This was a hell of a good funeral director doing what the family felt they needed.

I've been pregnant 6 times; I've successfully brought 2 pregnancies to term.
