"This rogue, Looney Tunes-inspired version of the film is at times crudely animated, but pretty inventive with the way it subverts expectations of this parody"

I didn't click the link. Can anyone who did tell me if the coyote's fur broke apart into an alley cat and several chinchillas? posted by Smart Dalek at 5:03 AM on March 18, 2011 [1 favorite]
You've got to admit he would've done a better job at hosting the Oscars though. posted by Flashman at 5:16 AM on March 18, 2011 [2 favorites]
I expected this was going to be worthwhile, and in that sense, it's true that my expectations were completely subverted. posted by mhoye at 5:17 AM on March 18, 2011

This makes the 1960s-1970s post-Chuck Jones/Friz Freleng Warner Brothers animation look like "Fantasia." posted by blucevalo at 6:16 AM on March 18, 2011 [3 favorites]

I regret that my watching that gave it one more hit. Ugh. posted by tamitang at 6:58 AM on March 18, 2011

Yeah, usually when I see the title "$PopCultureThing in $Time", I expect a highly condensed version of some lengthy narrative thing: "The Star Wars Saga in three minutes," "Lost in 30 seconds" or something of the sort. Here I went in figuring that there could not be more than a few hours total of Wile E. Coyote cartoons, something fascinating was in the offing.
Oh crap. Meep meep!! Wile E. Coyote (Genius). I so want to watch this, but are there any spoilers for the actual movie cos I haven't seen it yet... posted by Skygazer at 7:13 AM on March 18, 2011

There is a discussion going on about whether it is not beh beh, in fact. I believe I read that it was spelled beh and sounded like meh. (or how was it again...) posted by Namlit at 9:37 AM on March 18, 2011
ACME, always ACME.
You know, my local supermarket is Acme, and I have to say, they never seem to have any of their signature products. No exploding tennis balls, no earthquake pills, and I've never seen a single rocket powered item in stock. I've written several complaints to their customer service department about this disappointing stocking issue, but I've yet to get a response. posted by piratebowling at 9:57 AM on March 18, 2011 [2 favorites]
Try aisle E=MC². Otherwise known as the "Genius" aisle.
It's right of the "nuts" section. posted by Skygazer at 10:12 AM on March 18, 2011
