This is my favorite show of all time. It too me forever to find torrents of every episode. So happy it's up on Youtube now.

My eighth grade Communications teacher told us that excuses are like armpits, because we all have two of them. Good to finally know he was wrong.

I clicked the window closed before I could bear to watch him show anything.
Just can't do it.

That guy's face is tooo looong.

I get that the show's trying to be somewhat noble in trying to get people to accept embarrassing problems they have and go to the doctor, who often has a good solution for treatment or a cure, or at least good coping strategies, but it also reminds me of this Mitchell and Webb sketch which is kind of obligatory for this kind of thread.

Also, you made the correct decision chococat. It's remarkably gross. Poor guy. Anyone brave enough to watch the whole thing know if he gets better?

Why can't the English teach their women how to fart?

If only to conceal the far nastier Fishy Odour Syndrome.

Oww, shit's nasty, poor fella.

Yes, mccarty, he ultimately has a skin graft and seems to recover, though cosmetically it's still rather off-putting. (Warning: many shots of cthulhonic armpit pre-treatment.)

They air this show here. I always skip over it. Too squeamish.

I've been cheesed off with this show ever since the episode with the protruding labia minora. Instead of saying to the woman, 'Your vagina's totally normal and healthy—but if you hate it maybe we can arrange some counselling', they said, 'Your vagina's totally normal and healthy, but since it freaks you out we'll arrange for someone to cut some of it off with a knife'. Which seemed an irresponsible way to treat the viewers, let alone the woman herself.

(But what do I know? Perhaps I just don't appreciate the torment of the mega-flapped.)

Here it is: Labia reduction.

True story. I drained an abscess today on a guy who tweeted every step of the procedure. On the plus side, he also informed me that for some reason I came highly recommended on Reddit. Probably because I let people people tweet during minor office surgeries.

You can get doctor recommendations on Reddit? Who knew?

Wait . . . the doctor's name in the Flatulence clip is Pixie McKenna? "Hello, I'm Dr. Pixie!" "Oh, hello Doctor, I'm Patient Zero!"

I find it weird that this woman is embarrassed enough about her flappy ladybits that she gets them hacked off but she has no problem parading them around on TV.

Otherwise, this show is mesmerizing. Better than my veterinarian friend's book on horse skin diseases!

(But what do I know? Perhaps I just don't appreciate the torment of the mega-flapped.)

I think that is. Here is another labia reduction from the show and the woman talks about being sore, susceptible to thrush, finding sex painful and generally obsessing over it and being extremely effected psychologically.

Why the heck not? You can get them on AskMe. Reddit even has the benefit of local sub-Reddits, which should make it easier!

a guy who tweeted every step of the procedure. On the plus pus side . . .

Fixed that for ya.

I have a pretty gross medical problem! A pilonidal sinus, at the very top of my buttcrack! Thankfully, it's not really flared up in several years, it just looks like a wee dimple. This show could definitely help somebody with a problem like this; when a pilonidal sinus is just developing, all you're aware of is that it's getting increasingly painful to sit down. Then, suddenly, one day, awful reeking pus explosion! Sweet relief. Personally, I've never been embarassed about weird medical problems. I think they're incredibly interesting.

Glad you posted this Ambrosia Voyeur. Hadn't heard of the show, which sounds like such an important idea, to lesson people's embarrassment about their bodies and all the odd stuff that happens with bodies on a regular basis.

Having lived in India for ten years I got used to seeing strange medical conditions out in the open, not just the exotic ones like elephantiasis or leprosy but all kinds of stuff. After a while there I became very interested in medicine and went thoroughly through an edition of Merck's Manual.

Now it's so cool on the web to see all kinds of medical conditions. One has to be in the mood for medical ewww. Countless vids of pimple porn of all kinds. I had roundworms in India. Not fun. Here is a surgical removal of an intestinal blockage of the critters that is grotesquely fascinating.

do not click the roundworm link.

you were warned.

Pimple popping? EW! DO NOT WANT!

But man, that roundworm video was awesome! Especially the end when one person is handing someone else the bucket and that person's body language is clearly saying, "why the fuck are you giving ME the bloody worm filled bucket??"
