Safari Disco Club / Que veux-tu double-feature music video for two tracks from Yelle's second album
I was all ready to love this (because I <3-ed her debut album), but these were pretty lackluster for me. They kind of sound like someone dissolved all the musical elements of her debut album, boiled them down to a reduction, and then spooged them all over a plate of whatever generic French electro-pop-house is hot right now.
That sounds more snarky than I meant it to be, actually. They're not bad (by the aesthetics of the genre she moves in), but they aren't the clever and fun epiphany that her first disc was. I'll have to wait to hear some more singles, tho…

Saw them play last week for the second time. Fantastic! Tepr can work them synths!

Excellent! I like the idea of doing two videos at once and letting us watch the scene change inbetween. Good post.
