Some context: post-it arms race between Ubisoft and French bank BNP in Paris.

Yours is the best link I've seen of it yet, by far.

Is this a blog of the Post-It War that Ubisoft France is having with the bank across the street from them?

Whichever side did this one totally wins.

Ubisoft, not cowed but emboldened, responded with a double-high Mario.

The world needs more wars like this one.

Yup, only here in France could you do this and have your female co-workers internalize their discomfort into passive-aggressive silence.

Oh my god, we were just in Paris a few weeks ago, and my kids spotted these! Yeah, we saw the Eiffel Tower and sat in a cafe on the left bank and walked around Versailles -- but when people ask them what's the coolest thing they saw in France, they tell them "all the post-it note art in the windows!"

Do we need the apostrophe police in here, or is " ' " just French for " - " ?

Why are these so common in France, of all countries?

When I lived there I saw a hair salon named "Volt'hair". The apostrophe but be a pronunciation hint, so it doesn't come out as "posty", maybe.
