Ok, so, er, embarrassing - the thread I thought I was commenting on just got redboxed and I was mysteriously taken back to this page, whereupon I left that total nonsequitor of a comment. That said, though, I stand by the macarena never making sense and purport that it's an excellent example of how things could be worse. When I was in Basic Training my mother sent me a newspaper clipping with the photo of a young boy that that a wrought iron fence protruding through his mouth. It had enters through his chin/neck. It was like 3 inch square and and the paramedics had cut a 3 foot section of the fence off, but it was still going through his head. (He'd been climbing it to catch a fly ball.)
