Tiny windows games

Tiny windows games are diversions designed specifically to meet the needs of today's bored office worker. Check out the actual-size screenshots to see how easy it would be to conceal these on the desktop (try saying "it's a server monitor" if you get caught). [via fark]

I am absolutely in love with tetris :)

But, wait - I usually play intense/ multiplayer games online while I was at work over the summer ;-)

I'm so subtle at work.

Nice! Now all you need to do is download your very own Tiny Elvis, and you're good to go! Woah! Check out that icon...Man, that thang is huuuge!

It's a shame that the manic punching of keys that occurs whenever I play a game of Space Invaders will ultimately blow my cover.

I think I am going blind now.

ach.. all we need now is mini-porn...

and yes, i'm expecting one of the many mefi'ers to post a link to such an absurd idea.

isn't that what the5k was for?

being an editor, the manic punching of keys simply fools one's employer into thinking that the individual is hard at work. "wow, listen to him! he can type at 90 words per minute!" little do they know.....

Always trying to cheat your company... its the American way!

geoff, i'm not cheating my company at all, and i'm offended by that statement! i'm simply increasing my typing dexterity in order to improve my productivity and eye-hand coordination.

I haven't had this much fun since my math teacher deleted breakout from my TI-85!

One could concievably come up with a way of controlling the game via 'quadrants' of the keyboard. That way totally repetitive motion wouldn't give you away. (and you could maybe even sucessfully play AND work at the same time for that extra challenge).

hmm, that sounds like multi-tasking.. ahh, this makes it so much easier to increase my glasses prescription..

I'm not cheating my company... I'm monitoring the servers!

Now, the *real* trick would be to *really* make them server-monitors. E.g., the color and shape of each new piece in tetris codes for the current status of a particular server.

When I can play the Nintendo GameCube on the head of a pin, I'll be impressed.

For now, though, I shall go blind playing Tetris.

Perhaps some sort of Fresnel Lens that works in a similar manner to those "window stickers" is in order.
