Never post another Onion link again! Because now you can be certain we've all seen it, and others like it. Gagpipe is a satire and humor headline aggregator. Includes American, British, Australian, Canadian and French sites. Link stolen from Need To Know.

MacSurfer is a great way to learn about the latest Mac industry news and software updates. What other good aggregators are out there?

For news, there's nothing quite like News Is Free, which is a feature-rich headline collator (with summaries, if a media outlet's feed includes them). An option I particularly like is the ability to have headlines mailed to you daily. I get a 300K page of headlines mailed to me daily; that's a lot of web-browsing I don't have to do. They have 1957 feeds available as of this writing. There are also on-page scripts for interfacing with Blogger and Manila. There is a note on the news page that says, "Exports for news readers (AmphetaDesk, HeadlineViewer, Radio Userland) will be available soon."

However, News Is Free relies upon Javascript that does not work well with my preferred browser, Macintosh Internet Explorer 5.0, and my emails regarding this specific problems have gone unanswered and the problems have gone uncorrected.

I'm sure most know about Moreover – so I shall not mention it.

i'm working on an agregator at fyuze.com, which you can check out if you're interested. not as many feeds as others quite yet, but it's got some nifty features. with so many sites to check, who couldn't use an aggregator in some fashion?

By the way Mo, I didn't even need to click the link to know not to post Onion links. (Nothing against the Onion, it's just that, doesn't everyone go there already anyway?)

MetaFilter is a cool aggregator. It's still pretty new, and it's sometimes not as much aggregation as you might like, but I find it suits my needs. Anyone else here use it?

What I like about MacSurfer is that it's focused, and somebody else has already done all the work. Is News Is Free the best site of its kind?

i always thought of metafilter as both a good aggregator and a good aggravator.

Not a post about an aggregator, but pointing out something found via Gagpipe: This page (translated by Babel) from L'Examineur. Wow!
