This kid is lucky- he never has to be worried about being embarrassed, many years down the line, when he parents bring out his baby-book to show the new girlfriend. They're almost helping the cause.

Technically, this is "scenes from classic movies recreated by means of Arthur," as I doubt Arthur himself has sufficiently grasped the subtleties of mise-en-scèn to effectively stage his own events, but that is rank nitpickery.
The Seventh Seal, The Blair Witch Project, and Rear Window are genius.
American Beauty is deeply creepy.
I would like to see Arthur and Arthur as interpreted by Arthur, though.

Yes, really, kid may have a future, but no way his eyes can handle that depth of focus at his age. And the arrangement of the headband is too artful. So there.

The combination of babies and classic movies is pretty much my kryptonite.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who had that reaction.

Foci - c'mon - whose child hasn't read email naked?
Judging by the computer screen, babby is using Outlook to do some work from home, so that's totally different. Btw, babby looks completely overworked.

American Beauty is deeply creepy.
Only if you've seen the movie. It's entirely innocent otherwise.

I'm a little disappointed it wasn't Arthur the PBS cartoon character.

This is great; I'm sure he is just biding his time until he breaks out of that crib where he is unjustly imprisoned and heads south.

Does it show my age that I still think of Arthur as the character from Marc Brown's books?

The real scene was deeply creepy too. Not least because you (just me?) empathize with the protagonist's lust for a teenager. In that sense, Arthur's reenactment is disarming. (Except for the way he's looking at me.)

These would be better done with kittens. Everyone likes kittens, but babies are generally only really cute when they're your own.
