That's how we roll. If a cat scratches you once, it's declawed forever, if your crazy neighbor shoots someone, he's got those claws back in a few years.

Lesson: If you're going to kill someone, use a gun, don't scratch 'em to death.

Well, obviously felons need their gun rights to keep Fat King George from taking their land. That's the whole reason we HAVE a second amendment.

I'm not so sure that people who are interested in committing violent crimes are all that concerned about whether or not the guns in their possession are held legally. And not that I think its a great idea to have dangerous people armed, there are certainly plenty of other weapons someone might choose to use instead, which aren't (as far as I know) denied by felon status.
