Best Catwoman ever.

She's handling some pretty excessive displays of fannish affection with far more grace and bemusement than I would be capable of. My hat's off to her for that, in addition to her place in popular culture.

It makes me happy to know Julie Newmar hates leaf-blowers as much as I do.

Truly unforgettable, and her turn as "Catwoman" is absolutely wonderful. Hard to rank all of the various Catwomen, but Julie always comes out on top, IMO. Kinda hard to believe they let her get (and her fellow Catwomen) get away with that outfit on prime-time TV in the 60s.

Having said that...on her Bio page: "As an eleventh generation American and a Mayflower descendant, Julie Newmar has beauty, brains and a charming sense of humor. "

Uh, WTF does the first part of that sentence have to do with anything?

"As an eleventh generation American... "

Wait... what about only having nine lives?

I just don't get the idea that Newmar is the best catwoman, when Eartha Kitt exists.

I'm reading her work in Adam West's Family Guy voice.

I am y2karl and I approve this post.

Truly unforgettable, and her turn as "Catwoman" is absolutely wonderful.

Watching My Living Doll  was where I first encountered Julie Newmar. And puberty. It was, needless to say, a life changing event.

She's handling some pretty excessive displays of fannish affection with far more grace and bemusement than I would be capable of.

Years and years and years later, I finally wrote her a fan letter in which, in part, I called her a goddess. As a result, I got an 8 by 12 glossy enscribed Divine or not -- Love, Julie Newmar. It is one of my most treasured possessions.

Julie Newmar Writes
I picture her doing everything while lying on a piano. Writing. Dishes. Changing the oil on the car.

It makes me happy to know Julie Newmar hates leaf-blowers as much as I do.
She's also scared of the vacuum and distracted by laser pointers.

Neat. Just got done watching Friday's Child, in which she was by far the best thing.

She's also Stupifying Jones.
