The BSG one is brilliant. Really nice looking at the series through the lens of absurd Japanese RPG storylines. posted by Nelson at 12:54 PM on January 9
Dang, I was hoping for a pen and paper Jersey Shore RPG.
Not pen and paper, but I've heard rumours there are Jersey Shore LARPers, not unlike those folks that used to play vampires about town and those other guys that dress in armour and fight with padded swords in the park. They hang out at gyms and tanning salons and techno nightclubs, dressed in tight clothes and with lots of "product" in their hair, hoping to avoid "grenades" and "drama" which lose points, and gain points by "hooking up" and "smooshing". posted by Hoopo at 3:02 PM on January 9 [3 favorites]
I really like how they chose the final Cylons. TOTALLY PLANNED! posted by jeather at 3:03 PM on January 9 [3 favorites]

Ah, Jersey Shore.
Interesting fact. The new season of Beavis and Butthead? Whenever they're watching Jersey shore, Butthead gains like 130 IQ points.
ONSCREEN: Snooki shows the chalkboard tree diagram she's cooked up showing which person has "swapped spit" with each other person.
BUTTHEAD: "Ya know if she worked this chart back long enough, we could find out where herpes began." posted by JHarris at 7:32 PM on January 9 [3 favorites]
I loved the "effects budget" meter. If you listened to Moore's episode commentary, he was always complaining about the effects costs and telling you what shot would have been there if he had more money for that episode. posted by octothorpe at 8:03 PM on January 9
When my girlfriend is watching BSG, I always refer to it as "conference rooms in space". I'm glad someone else sees that, too. posted by lkc at 5:02 PM on January 10

That's not hard to believe. I wouldn't want to meet any of my Troll Heroes in life, and I already have enough conversations that basically start with, "So, there are some dumb/weird/irritating people on the Internet." The game is pretty funny, though. posted by Copronymus at 6:12 PM on January 11
i do not understand the concept of 'troll heroes'
i tried to play the game but it was after i met him in passing so it came off as weirdly angry and resentful
