So a Persian writer, an Arab artist and a Jewish editor walk into a room…
Zahra's Paradise is a webcomic inspired by the work of the late Zahra Kazemi (previously) and based on reports by Iranian bloggers. The author and publisher describe their experiences here.

I could only manage to see 2 strips. Do you have to subscribe or something?

Yeah . . . I don't think it's a webcomic anymore: that's all been taken down. Now it's just a webpage advertising an upcoming book.

Damn. I was following it and I thought of making a FPP when I saw a story on it. How very irritating.

First Second does this thing where they publish a page a day (or three a week, or whatever) of the book leading up to publication, and then take it all down when the book comes out. I've bought one book and pre-ordered another based on this strategy, so I guess it works!
