Hot Potato Style is a video by New Orleans rapper Nicky Da B made with a little help from Jean Luc Picard, Pee Wee Herman, John Stamos, and Charlie Chaplin (among others). Lyrics are probably slightly not safe for work.

That song actually syncs up perfectly to the instrumental part of Dancing from Hello, Dolly, which is on in the other room. And now my head is asploded.

I am so suggestible that I watched this for 7 seconds and promptly relinquished my grasp on this busket of scalding Yukon Golds.

Creepiest use of disembodied lips since Clutch Cargo.

For a second I thought some rapper had taken on the name Jean Luc Picard.

Was that a clip from The Worst Witch?

I love this century.

So, wait... Let me grasp this. John Stamos and Charlie Chaplain both appears as themselves, not in any roles but actually as themselves, but Patrick Stewart and Paul Rubens both appeared as their best known pop culture characters?

Or am I misunderstanding this post?

I'm pretty sure the Stamos clip is from his ill advised musical career, I figured no one would recognize Chaplin's character's name in The Great Dictator, and Petrick Stewart and Rubens both appear as their characters.

Do you have any other questions about the phrasing of the post? Possible suggestions?

No, that clarifies it. Thanks.

Sorry, codacorolla. I guess the issue of who appears as whom is not very pertinent. We'll just... drop it.

I was prepared to hate on this so hard, until I got to the big suit--then it all just clicked.

Yo, how did I get here?

I'll only add here that I learned how to dance bounce at a yoga house party in Quetzeltenango from a former NOLA sex worker. That was one of my stranger days.

Love it, although I imagine newcomers to bounce music might find it confusing.

You really need to see its effect on the movement of butts to appreciate bounce.

This handily demonstrates one of the things I like about bounce versus other regional booty genres: inclusivity. Fat people. Thin people. Dudes. You don't need to be a straight attractive girl to clap your butt to bounce music; you just need at least two legs with some meat at the top.

You could probably get by with only one.
